The Carrie Diaries episode 6

 

Hey Everyone

 

Its that time of the week again. A new episode of the Carrie Diaries has just aired and as you know I'm going to tell you about the fashions. So lets get started.

 

As you can properly tell already Carrie is really into sweater and so am I as you may know and this on is no exception. This sweater has a great colour and the stripes and dots makes this sweater super cute. The colour is perfect for the winter season.

 

 

I'm not a fan of the colour of the dress here but I think that it is a really nice dress. The cut and shape really suits Carrie well and I love that the top has a diamond cut out shape. The leggings added means that it is a perfect outfit for the colder winter months.

 

 

Carrie does not look very happy in this photo. But this scarf looks really good. The pop of pink is a great touch to the scarf as it looks very warm and cozy.

Guru Love: Shaaanxo

Shaaaanxo beauty guru and vlogger for 3 years now, is New Zealands top beauty guru.

I started watching Shannon's videos a year ago after she had an interview on 20/20. I had watched some of her videos on the odd occasion but after that interview I actually sat down and really watched her videos and instantly fell in love. Her passion for make-up comes through in all her tutorials and means that I can enjoy watching her videos more. Shannon has over 240,000 subscribers and deserves every single one of them. I love that Shannon is very open about her personal life with her videos and gives viewers the feeling we arnt just viewers we are also like friends. Shannon also has a vlog channel in which she uploads follow me vlogs and bloopers. This makes Shannon more relatable.

 

 

When Shannon does a review on a product as viewers we all can trust the information she gives us. We know that she would only tell us about the product is she really liked it. Her popularity means that she is part of the Style Haul partnership program and we know that she does get given free stuff. As a guru she has earnt and deserves this. 

 

The tutorials: Shannon posts videos 3-4 times a week, This gives viewers fresh and new content each week and gives us the opportunity to learn something new all the time. I love how accurate her makeup skills are and she really teaches her viewers how to apply makeup the correct way. You can learn so many tips from her makeup tutorials its really cool. Shannon also posts Outfit of the day videos which are also quite popular. I enjoy watching these videos because its good to see what sort of fashion sense she has and what trends and styles she is loving.

Shannon was one of the gurus that inspired me to start my own channel. I am also from New Zealand and seeing how successful she is inspires me so much and inspires me to make good quality videos like hers. Even though we are both from a small country her videos help me to know that Kiwis can be know in the beauty guru community. Shannon has built alot of friendships with other gurus and is something that I also hope to do through my channel. 

 

I wish that I had the opportunity to meet Shannon as I would never pass that up. I think she can provide you with so much knowledge on fashion and beauty and would be a really great friend.

So today was school mufti day. This is what I threw together, I properly looked very stupid in a beanie in the middle of summer but I loved it so much and couldn't give it a miss.

Sunday Portrait #2

Hey everyone

Its been a kinda boring week for me. Personally I haven't done much just been at work and going to school (I'm in high school if you didn't know). Valentines day was on Thursday and if you follow my blog quite frequently you will have seen that I did a post about Valentines day and my personal opinion on the day. Today I also went to the races. Lets say major fashion, horses and drunk people. It was a good day over all and I had heaps of fun. I won 22 bucks overall! A pretty good effort for me haha :) on Friday I had a sleepover lots of shopping, DVDs and junk food. It was a very fun night overall. I'm thinking of uploading a haul video on my YouTube channel later this week.

Valentines day

Hey everyone

 

so today was valentines day in New Zealand and I have to say it isn't one of my favourite days, partly because I have never had a valentines day with a boyfriend until today but that isn't why. I think that valentines day is a day share your love with your partner or loved one and yes there is nothing wrong with that but I feel like why do we have to share our love for your loved one on one day. If you really did love someone you wouldn't have to do it on that one day in the year. You should share it on any day of the year. So why do we have a valentines day?
